1.Information about you

1.1 We will collect personal information from you when you or your organisation enquire about our activities, register as a member with us or subscribe to one of our services. This may include your name, title, email address, physical address, telephone numbers and job title.

1.2 If your child attends our centre or accesses one of our services, we will collect personal information such as their name, age, address, telephone numbers and parent/carer details.

1.3 We may also ask for some additional personal information such as details of health conditions or allergies and emergency contact details to help us with ensuring your health and safety or the health and safety of your child.

1.4 We may also ask you to complete a monitoring form to collect details of your age group, ethnicity etc which will be voluntary to complete and results are anonymised.

2. Our use of this information

2.1 Your personal information will only be used to enable us process your requests, to provide you with our services, and to provide you with information relating to our services and all other services which we think you may be interested in.

2.2 We may share information about you with other organisations where necessary, to provide services requested or to refer you to other professionals who may be able to assist you. However, we will only disclose information where you have given your consent, where we have a legal duty to do so, or if there is a risk of serious harm or threat to life.

2.3 We may also use information to monitor the effectiveness of services provided, to monitor progress and for statistical returns, particularly to organisations that fund our work.

2.4 We will keep your personal information only for as long as required for the purposes for which it’s supplied. Where your information is no longer required, we will always make sure it is disposed of in a safe and secure manner.

3.1 We will take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of information you give us.

3.2 Communications in connection with our services may be sent by e-mail. For ease of use and compatibility, communications will not be sent in an encrypted form unless it is required. E-mail unless encrypted is not a fully secure means of communication. Whilst we endeavour to keep our systems and communications protected against viruses and other harmful effects we cannot bear responsibility for all communications being virus-free.
